I am Samar (she/her), a psychologist of Lebanese origin, committed to fostering authenticity and inclusion in every therapeutic relationship. I deeply understand the challenges of displacement, identity, and belonging, and I create a respectful, empathetic space where you are encouraged to be your true self.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, a Master’s in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Development, and a Master’s in Industrial Psychology. I am currently expanding my expertise by studying sexology. This diverse academic and professional background allows me to accompany individuals through a wide range of emotional and life challenges — from self-exploration and relational difficulties to questions around purpose, transitions, and well-being. I offer individual therapy, family therapy, and relationship therapy tailored to meet your unique needs.
My approach is person-centred, valuing your unique story and pacing our work according to your needs — no judgment, just genuine support.
You may be going through a difficult period, feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply in need of a space to talk and be heard.
As a psychologist in Brussels (Ixelles and Etterbeek) who speaks English, French, and Arabic, I provide a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is person-centred, meaning that whether you seek individual therapy, relationship therapy, or family therapy, your needs and story guide our work together.
What situations might lead you to seek support?
You might recognize yourself in some of the following experiences:
· Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge → We take time to understand what you are going through and create space for your feelings to be expressed and explored safely.
· Feeling emotionally exhausted or burned out → Together, we explore what has led to this exhaustion and reconnect with your needs and limits.
· Experiencing sadness, emptiness, or loss of meaning → Therapy offers a space to gently reconnect with yourself and what matters to you.
· Difficulties in relationships → In relationship therapy, we explore your relational experiences and patterns in a way that fosters understanding rather than judgment.
· Struggles with self-esteem or self-worth → I support you in developing a more compassionate and accepting relationship with yourself.
· Feeling lost or questioning your identity → Therapy can help you explore who you are, your values, and your sense of direction.
· Living as an expat or between cultures in Brussels → We explore questions of belonging, identity, and cultural experience in a supportive space.
· Difficulty understanding or expressing emotions → You will be supported in reconnecting with your emotional experience and giving it meaning.
· Impact of past experiences → We approach these experiences at your own rhythm, with care and respect for your boundaries.
· Life transitions and periods of change → Therapy can help you navigate uncertainty and stay connected to yourself during change.
In summary, I offer a space of empathy and deep listening, a non-directive approach guided by you, and a relationship built on trust, authenticity, and respect. The goal is to help you better understand yourself, access your own resources, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

I am not conventionnée with the INAMI, which means sessions are paid directly by the client.
However, several mutualités (such as Partenamut, Solidaris, CM, and others) may partially reimburse psychological consultations.
Depending on your mutuelle and plan, reimbursement can go up to approximately €25 per session for a limited number of sessions per year.
As reimbursement conditions vary between mutualités, I recommend contacting your mutuelle directly to confirm the amount and conditions of coverage. An invoice can be provided after each session if needed.
If you are unsure whether your sessions may be financially supported by an organisation or institution, feel free to contact me for more information.

Family therapy offers a space to explore the dynamics between family members and how these impact each individual. Rather than focusing on one person, it looks at relationships, communication patterns, and shared experiences within the family system.
It can be helpful in moments of tension, transitions, or when a child or adolescent is struggling. The aim is not to assign blame, but to better understand each perspective, improve communication, and support healthier ways of relating to one another.
